Troubleshoot office efficiency problems affecting many subdivisions
Symptom: many subdivisions in the same country (i.e. region) suffer low efficiency numbers. When you look into the subdivisions you can see this is caused by the office.
Facts:
- This often happens after opening new subdivisions, hiring employees, or training employees in subdivisions.
- Your offices are the most critical bottleneck for growth. They limit the number of subdivisions and employees (as well as their qualification ) in each specific region.
Guideline:
- Put focus on developing Top Manager qualification in "Management" (the skill relevant for offices). Always monitor office efficiency closely.
- After hiring, always check the workload of respective office
- After "Training completed" messages in your inbox, always check for required qualification adjustments and impacts on office workload
Steps:
- Subdivisions in a region suffer from Office efficiency <100%
- Check the office (example screenshot):
- Too much workload !
- Increase: salary (= qualification) of employees and quality of equipment, or number of employees
- make sure to respect minimum qualification, and match number of equipment and employees.
- Forecast TopManager: to get hints on allowed maximum number across all subdivision (as per Top Manager qualification)
- Check subdivisions - which cause the workload on the office? In the office, click
>> Subdivisions - Sort by workload - descending
- Start by looking into your highest workload subdivision. (pic: %31 workload caused )
- Reduce 1) quality of subdivision employees to the minimum required ! Consider using lower quality equipment in case. Further, consider reducing 2) number of employees or 3) put the subdivision "on holiday" to temporarily reduce workload on office
- Re-check the "Office Workload" Forecast of your office, after applying your changes
